After seven years as a lawyer and solicitor, Paul Rylance spent more than seven years as Head of Education and Training at Slaughter and May and SJ Berwin. During this time, he became the first Chariman of the Legal Education and Training Group. In 1996, he became Vice-Dean of UWE Law School and founded the Bristol Institute of Legal Practice.
